This article gives you an overview of the supplier repository, the central spot for all your supplier.
To access the supplier repository, click on the cylinder icon.
Filtering and Searching Suppliers
On the top, you can search for suppliers and filter by different attributes, such as:
Supplier Status – Filter by active, inactive, or under review status.
Tier – Organize suppliers by importance or classification (e.g., supplier, supplier of supplier etc.).
Capabilities – Search based on the products or services a supplier offers.
Type – Filter by Companies or Freelancers.
Location – Narrow results by geographic details such as city or country.
Units – Filter according to associated business units.
In addition, you can filter by 'Categories' and 'Supplier Lists' on the right hand side.
- Categories - Sort and filter by assigned procurement categories.
- Supplier lists - Create supplier lists to further sort your supplier base.
Use the "Add Supplier List" feature to create an individual list. Suppliers can be added in the Supplier Overview.
Adding a New Supplier
- Click "Create Supplier" button on the top right
- Enter the URL and name of the company you would like to add
Mercanis then searches the web to help you enrich the supplier profile. Should no match appear, you can always start from scratch. Mercanis will also check whether the supplier is already in your repository.

Viewing and editing a supplier profile:
To do this, click on the suppliers card.
