This article explains how to set up questionnaires
Questionnaires in Mercanis can be added and edited in multiple spots throughout the platform, e.g., in Sourcing Events, Assessment Event or within the settings.
Editing a Questionnaire
Once you added a questionnaire in the respective place, you can build and edit them according to your needs. First, you can edit the general information (such as, name, language and description) of the questionnaire by clicking "Questionnaire Details".
To add a new question, press the plus icon.
There, you can add one of the following question types:
- Yes/No
- Open-ended
- Multiple Choice
- Document Request
Additionally, you can add question groups to further structure your questionnaire.
Customization Options for Questions
You can further customize each question by using the different settings on the left
- Comment: Allows the addition of a comment section beneath the question for additional supplier input
- Mandatory: Designates the question as required for suppliers
- Document Attachment: Permits suppliers to attach supporting files relevant to their response
- Character Limit: Enables setting a maximum number of characters (only open-ended questions)
- Choice Restriction: Restricts the number of options the supplier can select (only for multiple choice questions)
Adding Logic to Questionnaires
You can set up conditional questionnaires, by using the logic tab of each question.
Select the determining question
Navigate to Logic (on the top left)
Add rules according to your needs
Set an outcome for each rule (i.e., which questions/groups should be hidden, if the rule's conditions are met)
Managing Questions
Individual questions within a questionnaire can be managed effectively:
- Move the Question up and down
- Delete the question
