A measure is a defined action that allows procurement teams to systematically document, track and manage improvements with suppliers.
Examples: Improve punctuality and request corrective actions after failed audits to address quality issues with specific parts.
Creating a measure
Go to 'Supplier Management' 'Collaboration' 'Measures' and then click 'Create Measure'. When creating a measure, always provide the following information:
- Title (e.g., “Reducing Responding Time”)
- Sharing Internal (bot visible for the supplier) or External (visible for the supplier)
- Responsible Person
- Due Date for completion
- Priority
- Description with clear instructions and expectations
Managing measures
Each created measure can be found in the general overview of all measures. Both you and the supplier can add activity to each measure. This can be used to track progress, increase transparency, or for the supplier to provide evidence of completion.
Only you can adjust the status according to the progress of the measure.
Proposals from suppliers
To promote proactivity, the supplier can propose measures as well. After they submitted a measure, you can either 'accept' or 'reject' the measure.
